Otter holt on northern Wey



Perryland holt site   By kind permission of Mr & Mrs Harrap, a tight meander on the northern Wey was fenced off and a holt constructed from a fallen alder. Scrub was then planted over the remainder of the area to provide cover. The work was carried out by Chris Matcham of the Surrey Otters & Rivers Project and funded by the Wey Valley Project through the SITA/SW Surrey Partnership.
