Rad Farm

Description of site: Grass fields mown for hay and overwinter cattle. Important part of local landscape. Awkward field corner. Old bonfire site, now eyesore with bare soil, nettles, docks etc.

G.R.M. Produce Ltd.

Description of site: An unmanaged, old hedge bank with some trees / shrubs, including sycamore, oak, blackthorn, holly, elm and willow spp. There are large gaps. Fields planted with various legumes, salad and herb crops.

Punchbowl Farm

Description of site: Overgrown hedges, containing many different species, especially hazel. Valuable landscape features, likely to be oak, ash, beech or sweet chestnut. Very steep field, adjacent to a SSSI, with a lot of gorse. National Trust reserve.

Description of site: Ancient, semi-natural woodland. All trees. Rough grass habitat. Excellent ditch of significant wildlife value, may support watervoles. Mixed species, restored hedgerows.

Description of site: An attractive focal point of the local area with a rolling grassland landscape around the church. An overgrown thorn hedge. Enclosure hedges, many to be restored through the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
